T.I. made history after the release of his sixth solo album, Paper Trail. After debuting at #1 on the Billboard charts, selling 568,000 copies in its first week, T.I.
This marks T.I.’s third consecutive #1 debut on the charts, as well as his best first-week sales of his career. T.I. is responsible for the biggest sales week for Atlantic Records in the history of the label.
The Atlanta-bred rapper have the #1 album in the U.S., he also has the #1 single. “Live Your Life,” featuring pop princess Rihanna jumps from 80-1 on the Billboard Hot 100. The track sold 335,000 downloads this week in the U.S.

LIL’ WAYNE BEGINS WORK ON CARTER IV

After the huge success of his last album, Lil’ Wayne has announced that he’s already working on his new album, Tha Carter IV. According to his blog on ESPN.com, the rapper is in the studio working on the new project, and also working on his new mixtape. The new mixtape, Dedication 3, will fall under DJ Drama’s Gangsta Grillz series and “you can expect it real soon,” Wayne says.

He also says that he’ll rerelease it with 20 extra songs for free on his website.

In addition, Lil’ Wayne is also collaborating with T-Pain for a highly anticipated duet album, T-Wayne which will be released for 2009 release.

Travis Barker and DJ AM in Critical Condition After Plane Crash

Creator of the popular clothing line Famous Stars and Straps Travis Barker, and Nicole Richie’s ex fiancé DJ AM are in critical condition after their plane crash of a runway in Columbia, South Carolina. The crash, which killed all 4 of the other people aboard, happened soon after the jet started to takeoff.An eye witness told NBC news affiliate WIS that he saw jet fuel shoot out across the roadway and then saw two men, who were both on fire, patting each other down to extinguish the flames.

DJ AM and Travis Barker were transported to a hospital in Columbia, both had extensive burns.

Ciara Is Suing Vibe Magazine!

According to Perez Hilton, the October 2008 Vibe Magazine Cover the photos featuring Ciara were actually air brushed!

Ciara sues Vibe magazine because they according to her airbrushed all the clothes off of her in a recent cover photo.

The song and dance queen appears to be naked on the October Vibe cover, but sources reveal exclusively to PerezHilton.com that she DID NOT pose nude.

TI and 50 Cent Get MTV Reality Shows

Rapper T.I. can now add a MTV Reality Series to his Resume. According to Drewreports.com T.I. has signed on with MTV to film a reality show with eight-episodes following him as he performs more than 1,000 hours of community service before serving his one-year prison sentence sometime next spring. The untitled series has already filmed T.I's release from house arrest. Shooting for the show will continue this summer, leading up to his return to jail in early 2009.

The show will feature 16 contestants and follow them as they live together and compete in challenges that relate to the streets and business. The show will end each week with 50 Cent narrowing his search. The show will air on MTV.

Kimora Lee Simmons wants $40k per month for child support!

Fashion designer Kimora Lee Simmons wants her ex-husband, Phat Farm CEO Russell Simmons, to pay $40,000 per month for child support. In documents filed Tuesday, in L.A. Superior Court, Kimora Lee Simmons is demanding a whopping $20k per month in child support, per child, up until the year 2019 (for Ming Lee) and 2022 (for Aoki Lee). That’s $6 million total over the next 14 years.

I’ve always thought Kimora was money hungry, but damn! She’s already rich as hell off her Baby Phat empire, and now she’s trying to cash in on being a baby mama. I’m all for child support, but when the mother is already making a more than comfortable living, the father shouldn’t be obligated to pay THAT much. $40,000 a month? Travis Mccoy Arrested For Assault

MARYLAND HEIGHTS, MISSOURI // TUESDAY, JULY 2ND 2008 » Gym class heroes member Travis Mccoy recently got into an altercation with an audience member after a racial slur was yelled at him during a performance.

Hip Hop band Gym Class Heroes was in the middle of their set on the Warped Tour in St. Louis Missouri, when frontman Travis McCoy got into an onstage scuffle with an audience member. The band had just finished their first song when the unnamed man called McCoy a fucking ignorant nigger.

Travis invited him onstage with the intent of calling him out in front of the crowd, with absolutely no intention of a physical altercation, said the band manager Bob McLynn. When he tried to help him onstage, the guy hit Travis in the knee area, forcing Travis to defend himself. At this point, a scuffle broke out.

McCoy's defense of himself reportedly included breaking his microphone over the man's head. The entertainer immediately apologized to the crowd, saying, Im sorry. But when someone calls you something that ignorant and that offensive, you have to bash their head in with a microphone. The crowd cheered as the unknown man was escorted away by security.

Travis was arrested on stage after the show and charged with third-degree assault. He was released Wednesday morning on $500 bond.

Pharrell Williams to Be a Daddy?

Rumors are starting to go around, saying that producer and N*E*R*D frontman Pharrell Williams has a baby on the way. The rapper/singer has knocked up a model-type chick he met with friends in Miami earlier this year.

The unidentified woman “is very pregnant and travels with him. She hangs out with the backstage crew when he performs,” said a friend . But Pharrell is private and does'nt want to give any details.”

Will Smith is currently Hollywood’s best paid actor. The “Hancock” star came first in the Forbes ranking to find the best paid actor 2007, with an estimated $80 million in the bank, just from making movies. “Pirates of the Caribbean” star Jonhny Depp earned $72 million last year, and came in second. Eddie Murphy and Mike Myers both tied for third, earning $55 million each. And Leonardo DiCaprio came in 5th place with $45 million.

As far as actresses go, Cameron Diaz is Hollywood’s best paid actress. In 2007, she raked in $50 million, with actresses Keira Knightly and Jennifer Aniston following behind with $32 million and $27 million, respectively.

Beyonce honoured

singer/actress Beyonce Knowles performed at the 2008 Diamond Ball And Private Concert Saturday night on the stage at the American Airlines Arena in Miami, Florida. She performed on the stage with seven year old proffesionnal pianist Ethan Bortnick, who was playing to show his appreciation to the hospital for treating his younger brother’s heart troubles.

Beyonce Knowles was guest of honor at the gala wich hoped to raise as much money possible for the miami Children’s Hospital Foundation, With tables costing up to $11,000.

Beyonce was inducted to the center’s Hall of Fame as a reward for all of her generous charity work.
